Today the lovely and talented Hana successfully distracted me (if only temporarily) from my studies with a trip to the beach. Say what you will about the potentially controversial "changing of the guard" at the Rockaways; it's still a bitchin' way to spend a hot summer afternoon. Two fish tacos, iced coffees, iced teas, strawberry-lime italian ices, and one frozen chocolate-covered banana later we called it a day.
